My Story
This is my story, you are welcome to read it or skip on by but it gives you an idea of who I am and what brought me here to Scentsy!
Let me start by saying that I LOVE SCENTSY PRODUCTS! I truly do. I love all the scents, I love the thought that goes into each and every design and I love that Scentsy has become like family to me.
I was introduced to Scentsy many years ago when I was gifted a nightlight. It was beautiful and I had it turned on all the time until I ran out of wax.& I did not know at that time that Scentsy had consultants. I actually didnt know anything about the company at all. When I ran out of wax, I just unplugged it and put it in a drawer.;
Fast forward a few years......
I was laid off from a job I loved and was devastated.I decided at that point to return to school to train for another field. Being unemployed was driving me a little stir crazy but with my schedule, it was hard to find a job that balanced with my school and family schedule. I knew I had to have an income and when I saw someone on a local Buy/Sell group posted about joining their Scentsy team, I sent a message asking for more information. I didn't know this person, but I knew she was really active with Scentsy because I was seeing her posts all the time.
After answering my questions, I clicked on her website "Join" link and that brings me here! I will admit, I was very skeptical!! I even expressed this to my sponsor, I came out with all the excuses: I am very shy....no time..... I didn't know anyone I could sell to....... lots of consultants in my area.................. I look back now and chuckle....how naive I was!
WOW! I still can't believe it! Once I received the kit, my excitement started! The products are amazing!
I started mentioning to people I was a Scentsy consultant, and it has taken off from there! I am doing better than I initially expected and the products really do sell themself because they are worth every penny! I am in love with all their products and have "Scentsyfied" my home. The quality is amazing and customer service, second to none in my opinion!
My "WHY" started out as a way to make money.....my "WHY" now is because I absolutely love what I do, the people I meet and the ability to work where I want, when I want and as much or little as I want!!! It absolutely gives you a freedom that is hard to get used to!
I am so excited about what I do now and it shows! People can hear the passion in my voice when I talk about the company and products. I can hear the passion in other consultant's voices! It's contagious!
I am bringing in an income, I am proud of how I am earning that income, and I am helping others earn an income! My team members are all amazing and we truly are "sisters" as we all share the same passion! I love seeing their confidence grow!
Scentsy is a company that truly treats our consultants like gold! They offer so many amazing incentives that are reachable for seasoned and NEW consultants. I earned a trip to Nashville in my first SIX MONTHS! Nashville was amazing and FREE!!! How awesome is that?!
Everyday I choose something to do that will help me "step out of my comfort zone". Whether it be talking to a stranger, handing out a catalogue in a grocery store or giving samples to random people. It truly has driven me to overcome my extreme shyness towards people I don't know. I find myself smiling more and enjoying myself.
My advice to you is: Whether you are thinking of purchasing Scentsy products, considering hosting a party or thinking about becoming a consultant......Do it! What do you have to lose?
